Curriculum Description: This economics bootcamp explores the nature of money, banking, and preserving wealth. Students will learn about the history of money, fiat currency, inflation, storing value, investing, risk, digital money, and cryptocurrencies. Each lesson includes interactive activities and quizzes to reinforce learning.
Prerequisites: Completion of Units 1-4 recommended.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this bootcamp, students will be able to trace the evolution of money, explain what gives money value, understand inflation and its effects, compare different ways to store and preserve value, analyze risk in investing, and evaluate digital currencies and cryptocurrencies.
