Difficulty Level: Advanced
Curriculum Description: This advanced economics bootcamp explores the role of government, society, and the future of economics. Students will learn about taxes, government budgets, fiscal policy, public policy, economic systems, consumerism, planned obsolescence, consumption, waste, the environment, and economic forecasting. Each lesson includes interactive activities and quizzes to reinforce learning.
Prerequisites: Completion of Units 1-5 recommended.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this bootcamp, students will be able to analyze the role of taxes and government services, evaluate fiscal policy and government budgets, compare different economic systems, analyze consumerism and its environmental impact, understand planned obsolescence, and evaluate economic forecasting methods.
