Curriculum Description: This workshop shows students how mathematics applies to the real world. Students will explore math in architecture, math in music, math and space, math in science, math around us, speed distance time, geometry applications, and math puzzles. Each lesson includes interactive activities, podcasts, and quizzes to reinforce learning.
Prerequisites: Completion of Intermediate Math Mastery (M3) or equivalent.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this workshop, students will be able to see mathematics in architecture and design, understand the mathematical foundations of music, apply math to space exploration, understand how math powers science and technology, recognize math in everyday life, solve speed-distance-time problems, apply geometry to real-world situations, and enjoy mathematical puzzles.
