Target Audience: Grade 5, Grade 6, Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9, and Grade 10 students (ages 10-16)
Difficulty Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Curriculum Description: This comprehensive geometry workshop covers all major concepts in geometry from basic shapes to advanced theorems. Students will master geometry fundamentals, angles, area, perimeter, volume, circles and pi, the Pythagorean theorem, transformations, and symmetry. Each lesson includes interactive activities, podcasts, and quizzes to reinforce learning.
Prerequisites: Completion of Pre-Algebra & Number Relationships (M4) or equivalent.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this workshop, students will be able to identify and classify geometric shapes, measure and construct angles, calculate area, perimeter, and volume, understand circles and pi, apply the Pythagorean theorem, perform geometric transformations, and recognize symmetry in mathematics and the world.
