Curriculum Description: This complete grammar workshop introduces young learners to the fundamental building blocks of English . Students will master the alphabet, capital letters, basic punctuation, simple sentences, present and past tenses, articles, and prepositions . The curriculum also includes sight words and CVC phonics to support reading and spelling development. Each lesson is designed to be interactive and engaging for early elementary students.
Prerequisites: None - perfect for absolute beginners.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this workshop, students will be able to recognize all letters, use capital letters correctly, write simple sentences, use basic punctuation, understand and use present and past simple tenses, and correctly apply articles (a/an/the) and basic prepositions.

Lesson 1: Learn the Alphabet. Start your English journey by mastering the 26 letters of the alphabet. This interactive lesson teaches letter recognition, uppercase and lowercase forms, and basic letter sounds through engaging activities and quizzes.

Lesson 2: Capital Letters for Kids. Learn the rules of capitalisation in a fun, interactive way. Students will discover when to use capital letters - at the beginning of sentences, for names, and for the pronoun "I". Includes practice exercises and quizzes.

Lesson 3: Basic Punctuation. Master the three essential punctuation marks: periods (.), question marks (?), and exclamation points (!). This lesson teaches students how to end sentences correctly and understand different sentence types.

Lesson 4: Simple Sentences for Kids. Learn to build simple sentences with a subject and a predicate. This interactive lesson covers word order, sentence completeness, and how to express complete thoughts. Includes hands-on writing practice.

Lesson 5: The Present Simple Tense. Master the most common English tense. Students learn to talk about daily routines, facts, and habits using the present simple. Includes conjugation rules for he/she/it (-s endings) and plenty of practice examples.

Lesson 6: Present Continuous Tense. Learn to describe actions happening right now. This lesson covers the verb "to be" + -ing form structure, helping students express what is happening at this moment. Includes visual examples and interactive exercises.

Lesson 7: Understanding the Past Simple Tense. Discover how to talk about actions that already happened. Students learn regular past tense (-ed endings) and practice forming past simple sentences. Includes storytelling activities and quizzes.

Lesson 12: Assessment - Tricky Words Quiz. Final assessment to test everything learned in this curriculum. This quiz covers commonly confused words, spelling challenges, and grammar rules appropriate for K-2 level. Students should complete this after finishing all lessons to verify their understanding.
