Target Audience: Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 students (ages 13-18)

Difficulty Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Curriculum Description: This workshop explores the rich philosophical traditions of the medieval and Renaissance periods. Students will study Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Scholasticism, Neoplatonism, Erasmus, Machiavelli, Humanism, and Renaissance Thought. Each lesson includes interactive activities, podcasts, and quizzes to reinforce learning.

Prerequisites: Completion of Ancient Greek (P2) and Hellenistic/Roman (P3) Philosophy recommended.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of this workshop, students will be able to explain how medieval philosophers reconciled faith and reason, understand the development of Scholasticism and Neoplatonism, describe the humanist movement and its impact on European thought, and analyze Machiavelli's contributions to political philosophy.
