CarnivoresAn animal that feeds on another animal is called a carnivore. They eat the meat of other animals.
CellsIt’s the smallest structural and functional unit of an organism’s life. Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things.
AtomsAny particle of matter which contains at least one proton. The smallest unit of a chemical element is also called an atom.
AxisA straight central part of a structure to which others are connected. An imaginary straight line that divides the shape equally into two parts.
ChartsA sheet of organized information in a table, graph, or diagram form.
Periodic tableA tabular arrangement of chemical elements organized by atomic number.
ChromosomesA thread-like structure is found in the nucleus of living things. A strand of DNA encoded with genes is also known as a chromosome.
Chemical EnergyThe energy is stored in the bonds of chemical compounds, and this may release during the chemical reaction.
EarthquakeSudden shaking of the ground; A sudden movement of earth lithosphere(earth’s upper mantle and its crust)
BarometerThe scientific instrument is used to measure atmospheric pressure. It measures the changes in the atmosphere like air pressure.
WeatherThe particular state of air and atmosphere on a specific place and in time
MarineThese are related to the sea, like seawater or oceanic, something produced by the sea.
Geology Study of the earth; where geologists study earth rocks and its mantle.
MixtureCombination of different things, adding one substance with another, and making a new solution
DensityIt is a measurement of the quantity of substance or mass per unit volume of a substance. It’s basically a measurement of how tightly matter is packed together in a particular substance.
CompoundIt’s a composition of 2 or more separate elements.  Any substance composed of two or more elements chemically combined with one another but in a fixed proportion.
Kinetic Energy A form of energy that an object has due to its motion. For instance, during walking or falling, you use your kinetic energy.
Potential EnergyThe stored energy is possessed by the relative positions of various parts. For instance, the string has stored energy, and it will have more potential energy in a compressed or stretched state.
Electron ShellIt is the outer part of an atom that surrounds the atomic nucleus. These are simple shells that electrons occupy around their nucleus of atoms.
EcosystemThe place where all the organisms and physical environment interacted with each other; A community of living organisms. It is a relationship between all the living and nonliving things.
EnvironmentThe circumstances, objects, or particular conditions by which someone is surrounded are called their environment.
GeneMade up of DNA, these are basic heredity codes. Genes carry the proteins.
OrganA Group of tissue makes organs and it constitutes a different structural and functional unit.
ParticleA minute and a small portion of any substance. For instance, a particle of the atom.
Atomic MassThe average mass of the atom of an element that we measured. The single mass of an atom or molecule is known as atomic mass.
OrbitA circular path in that one body follows a circling around another body. For instance, the earth makes an orbit around the sun.
AntibioticsA medicine that inhibits the growth of bacteria
BacteriaSimply stated germs; are not visible with the human eye
DataInformation based on the facts is called data
DiffractionChanging in the direction or intensity of light waves while passing through any obstacle.
VelocityThe action or speed of the object; rate of motion
AccelerationChange in velocity with accordance the time
InertiaNo movement, tendency to remain stable or unchanged
Gravity Force of attraction tends to draw bodies together
ReactivityThe condition of being reactive
ConductivityThe ability to conduct or transmit something like heat, sound, or electricity.
